The Sabian AAX crash arrived a earlier today and sounds awesome, if a little loud for general practising. Can't wait to take this monster gigging though!

just been up to sunny lancaster to collect the gretsch catalina club rock kit that shammy put me on to.
i have learned a few things this morning:

1. mr penguin is a thoroughly top chap, made me a cup of tea on arrival, friendly chat and all round top bloke. so thanks!
2. a 26" bass drum is BLOODY HUGE. particularly when sat in a 26" hardcase.
3. a 3 door alfa romeo 147 is not really the car to transport such a kit around.
